I did it! I assigned every symbol a letter from the Latin alphabet. I feel like something inside me broke, I stared at the symbols for too long. I feel like I forgot something.
I can look at the transcribed version, it only hurts a little. Of course, it still doesn’t make any sense. This is just the first step in deciphering it. I must keep working on it. I have to understand. But not today.
I am spent. Staring at the entry, trying to focus on individual symbols, comparing them, it took so much, so much, I have to rest. I want to dream. I would give anything for a good dream. It has been weeks since my sleep has been restful.
